How Studio works & its limits
A short, honest tour of what Studio does well today — and where its edges are — so you know what to expect.
On-brand cards are built, not guessed
Design cards are rendered from a template plus your Brand Kit — your colours, fonts, and logo — so the same inputs always produce the same, predictable result. There are eight templates: quote, stat, announcement, and occasion layouts, plus several photo layouts.
Ideas are grounded in your brand
Ideas draw on your brand profile and your recent posts, so they sound like you rather than generic. They don't yet pull in live news or trends — that's on the roadmap.
What you'll need
- A reasonably complete Brand Kit makes everything better.
- Photo templates need a photo — pick one from your library, or Studio uses a built-in sample background.
Today's limits
- AI backgrounds inside templates aren't available yet. Use your own photo, a solid brand colour, or a built-in sample background. (You can still generate standalone images in Create with AI.)
- Video isn't available yet — Studio makes images today; short video is planned.
- Card aspect ratios are square (1:1), portrait (4:5), and story/Reel (9:16).
- Everything draws on your AI allowance — text and ideas use your monthly AI tokens; image generation uses your monthly image allowance. See Plans & limits.
