Compose & publish

Write a post once, pick where it goes, fine-tune it for each platform, preview it exactly as it'll appear, and publish now or schedule it for later.

The composer, step by step

  1. Choose your channels

In Post, select the connected accounts this post should go to — you can post to several at once.
  2. Add your media

Upload photos or video, pick from your Media Library, or create something with AI.
  3. Write your caption

Start with one caption for everyone, then tailor it per platform if you like.
  4. Set per-platform options

Some platforms have their own fields — a YouTube title and privacy, LinkedIn visibility and alt text, and so on.
  5. Preview

See a true-to-platform preview, including any cropping, before you publish.
  6. Publish or schedule

Post now, save a draft, or schedule it for later.

Per-platform captions

Write one base caption and postme.live uses it everywhere — or adjust it per platform when a channel calls for a different tone or length. postme.live can also draft and tailor captions for you in your brand voice, tuned to each platform's style.

Caption lengths differ by platform; the composer shows a live character counter, and the full list is on Platform limitations.

Platform-specific options

PlatformOptions you can set
YouTubeTitle, description, visibility (public / unlisted / private), category, "made for kids", AI-content disclosure
LinkedInVisibility, disable resharing, alt text per image
TikTokFinished in the TikTok app — see Connect TikTok
Facebook / InstagramCaption, plus each platform's media rules

Previews & cropping

The preview mirrors each platform — feed posts, Reels, carousels, Facebook mosaics — so you see your post the way your audience will. When an image would be cropped or letterboxed to fit a platform's shape, the preview flags it.

Drafts

Not ready yet? Save as draft keeps your caption, media, channels, and options so you can pick it up later.
