Troubleshooting
Can I post images to YouTube?
No — YouTube only accepts video. Use a video or a Short.
How do I post a Short?
Upload a vertical, short video. YouTube classifies short vertical videos as Shorts automatically.
Google says there's no channel on my account
YouTube connects a channel, not just a Google login. If that account doesn't have a channel yet, create one at youtube.com (click your profile picture → "Create a channel"), then reconnect. If you use more than one Google account, make sure you pick the one that owns your channel.
The connection failed after I unchecked a permission
Reconnect and leave all the permission boxes checked. We need the channel-read permission to find your channel; unchecking it stops the connection.
